Along with gentle, effective Chiropractic, we offer registered massage therapy, carpal tunnel therapy, cold laser therapy, and customized orthotics.
Carpal Tunnel Therapy
If you suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome, our patented machine may be the solution you are seeking. By gentle stretching the carpal tunnel area, this reduces inflammation and swelling and removes pressure on your median nerve.
Traditional medical care for carpal tunnel syndrome involves cutting the carpal ligament in a procedure known as “Carpal Ligament Release.” There is no need to under go a potentially painful and risky surgery when a combination of Chiropractic, massage therapy, stretches and exercises along with using our carpal tunnel traction machine is a safe and effective way to eliminate carpal tunnel syndrome altogether.
There are times when the body needs help to get inflammation and swelling under control. That’s why we use the MedX Laser to help get troubled and painful areas under control.
Whether its for sore shoulders, elbows, knees and wrists (and even for carpal tunnel syndrome), laser therapy is a gentle and effective way to quickly reduce swelling.
You can think of it like acupuncture, but without the needles.
What Are Prescription Orthotics?
Prescription orthotics look like insoles, but are biomechanical medical appliances that are custom made to correct your specific foot imbalance. Orthotics fit into your shoes as comfortably as an insole. They have the advantage of having been made from precise images of your feet. As each person is unique in their foot structure, arch height and walking form a truly unique orthotic is the only thing that can correct your unique situation. Be wary of any “orthotic” that hasn’t been designed specifically for you (i.e. can be found off the shelf of a local retailer). These are simply “modified insoles” that don’t take into account your unique situation and can often worsen or create lasting conditions impacting your lifestyle.
How Do They Help?
Orthotics help restore the normal balance and alignment of your body by gently correcting foot abnormalities. They gently reduce problems associated with pressure points, muscle strain and abnormal forces on ankles, knees, hip and spine.
How Would I Know If I Had A Problem?
The symptoms can include any one of the following:
- Localized foot pain
- Bunions, hammer toes
- Arch/heel pain
- Leg/knee pain
- Hip/back or neck pain
How Are They Made?
Dr. Matthew Faught uses two companies, The Orthotic Group and Atlas Orthotics to create your custom orthotics. Which specific company will be used to create your unique orthotics will depend on what Dr. Faught determines during your foot and orthotic assessment.
