Meet Dr. Matthew Faught
Dr. Matthew Faught is passionate about helping others achieve optimal health and wellness and is committed to educating the public about the power of Chiropractic care.
Dr. Faught loves to meet new people and get to know them. When you first visit Align Family Chiropractic and Wellness Centre, he’ll greet you with a smile, call you by name and make sure you know this is the right place for your healthcare needs.
Why Chiropractic?
When he was younger, Dr. Faught developed a herniated disc in his spine. The pain was so debilitating that, at one point, he couldn’t walk. He saw doctor after doctor without finding an answer.
He finally went to a chiropractor and his quality of life drastically increased and he was able to walk without pain.
An Education in Chiropractic and More
After his personal experience with chiropractic, Dr. Faught knew it was the right career path for him. After obtaining a degree in Science from Laurentian University, he went on to make the Dean’s List repeatedly while at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and he graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic and Clinical Honors.
Bringing His Passion Back Home
After receiving his DC, Dr. Faught came back home to Sudbury to practice. Dr. Faught is committed to creating a comfortable and rewarding experience for each of his patients by applying both the diversified and activator chiropractic methods in his patient-centered practice. He has a special interest in pediatric chiropractic, and has worked with Autistic patients as part of his internship at Aptus Children’s Centre, and Aptus Adult’s Centre in Toronto, Ontario. He also has an interest in sports chiropractic, and has worked with professional athletes at the Ontario Soccer Association in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Faught continues to further his chiropractic knowledge by completing research on a variety of Seronegative Arthropathies, such as ankylosing spondylitis. He also dedicates his time to researching the latest methods for creating and maintaining harmonious health.
Outside of the Practice
When he’s not working, Dr. Faught loves to spend time with his wife, Angela and their dog, Loki. He is a life-long resident of the city of Greater Sudbury and loves anything outdoors – hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing and snow machining. He’s also a BIG movie fan and loves music, especially playing his guitar.
